EL CORTIJO

This small restaurant is a friendly place with great service and good quality food - especially the meats and sausages. In the summer they often have BBQs

THE WOK

Excellent food at a reasonable price! There is a large buffet and you can also choose your own ingredients to be cooked in the wok or on the plancha with a choice of different sauces and spices. You can eat as much as you want at a fixed price. Try not to fill up on the buffet alone because the best food is cooked in front of you.

VENTA EL JINETE

This Venta is located on the road to La Cala Golf. It has lovely views across the countryside back towards La Cala Hills, so try and get there before sunset! There is a large restaurant inside, but for the best experience, eat outside. The set meals are excellent value, high quality, and European style food. There is live music on Thursdays and Saturdays with a small additional cover charge.

DA BRUNO’S - CABOPINO

The setting under trees is great with landscaped gardens, fish ponds and children's play area. The Italian based menu is extensive and includes lobster spaghetti, Risotto, calves liver and fillet steak cooked in blue cheese sauce to name a few choices. It is quite expensive, but a good choice for a special night out and an opportunity to dress for dinner.

EL TOMAQUET - MYRAMAR

Caroline and various friends and family members have had many evenings here putting the world to rights with a glass of rioja or a cerveza grande. It is a very casual bar with a great Spanish atmosphere. It is always busy! Our recommendations include patatas bravas - fried potato chunks with a local spicy sauce, pinchito de cordero - local lamb kebab, rack of spare ribs, pinchito de gambas y bacon - prawn and bacon kebab, Mexican bombitos - spicy meat ball containing mince and mashed potato, marianitos - miniature hamburgers topped with cheese, bacon and a quails egg… There is something for everyone - and very cheap!

VAL PARAISO

This is a top quality restaurant and the menu is fantastic! There is dancing after dinner and the restaurant has a range of entertainment from opera singers to Spanish dancers who sing and dance during dinner. Thursday night is Flamenco night and probably the best night to take children. This is quite a dressy restaurant. The setting is beautiful and children are welcome.
